Welcome to Pinch of Thyme! By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please review them carefully before booking.

1. Services Provided

Pinch of Thyme offers a range of customized services based on client needs and availability, including:

Private chef and meal preparation services

Event decoration and styling

Setup and breakdown of event spaces

Buffet and family-style dining experiences

2. Booking & Payments

Private Chef Services

Must be booked at least 3 days in advance to allow for proper menu planning and ingredient preparation.

Bookings made within 3 days of the event require full payment at the time of booking.

Bookings made more than 3 days in advance require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the reservation. The remaining balance must be paid at least 7 days before the event.

Event Services

Must be booked at least 14 days in advance to allow for sufficient planning and execution.

Payment Terms

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all bookings, with the remaining balance due 7 days before the event.

Last-Minute Bookings:

Bookings made within 7 days of the event require full payment and will incur a 15% rush fee.

Bookings made within 48 hours of the event will incur a 20% rush fee to cover urgent costs.

3. Meal Preparation Services

Meal prep services must be booked at least 7 days in advance to ensure timely preparation and delivery.

Full payment is required at the time of booking for meal prep services.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Meal Preparation Services

Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance to receive a full refund.

Event Services

Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 7 days of the event, as resources would have already been allocated for planning, staffing, and ingredient sourcing.

If you cancel within 7 days, you may reschedule your event for a later date based on Pinch of Thyme’s availability.

If cancellation occurs within 5 days of the event, the deposit is fully non-refundable, as materials and ingredients would have already been purchased.

5. Force Majeure

Pinch of Thyme is not liable for cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

Extreme weather conditions

Natural disasters

Government-imposed restrictions

Force Majeure Policy:

If food has already been prepared or ingredients purchased, clients may reschedule the event within 30 days based on availability.

If rescheduling is not possible, a partial refund may be issued for unused goods (e.g., non-perishable items), but the deposit will be retained.

If food has not been purchased or prepared, clients may reschedule the event without penalty or choose to cancel and receive a partial refund, deducting administrative costs.

6. Food Safety & Allergies

We strictly adhere to food safety regulations to maintain the highest quality standards.

Clients must disclose any food allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of booking.

While we take all necessary precautions, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

7. Event Decorations & Setup

Clients are responsible for obtaining venue permissions for decorations and setup.

Any damages to rented or provided decorations must be paid for by the client.

Setup and breakdown times must be agreed upon in advance to ensure smooth execution.

8. Liability

Pinch of Thyme is not responsible for injuries, allergic reactions, or damages resulting from our services.

Clients assume full responsibility for their guests and event space.

9. Photography & Marketing

We may take photos of setups and meals for promotional purposes.

If you do not wish to have your event or food photographed, please notify us in writing before the event.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Saint Lucia, WI. Any disputes arising shall be resolved in the courts of Saint Lucia, WI.
